Dynamos Coach Attacks Female Cameraperson

By Perkins Bare Dynamos Coach Paulo Jorge Silva capped off what hasn`t been a great week for him by finally losing his nerve as he charged at a female reporter from ZBC who pitched up at the team`s training camp, injuring her in the process. He then went on ahead to ban all the players and his whole technical staff from giving interviews to the press threatening that anyone who dared to violate it would lose his job. It all started on Sunday when a seemingly innocent interview of Paulo Silva was published in the Standard. The coach opened up on his coaching credentials and title aspirations but then it all went horribly wrong for him when it was taken a step further and unraveled that he had misrepresented his coaching credentials just to get a job at Dynamos. “I had stints with Stuttgart, Greuther Furth, Nuremberg, Aalen – all in Germany – but I was coaching their Under-21 teams. It is in Albania that I got my first job as an assistant coach. This did not last long

By Perkins Bare   It was just a couple of weeks ago, 13 th of Feb to be exact when an underrated Chicken Inn stunned Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 to end their 19 match unbeaten-run in all competitions. This Saturday they face them in the second leg and they`d have to just be as aggressive with the highly fancied side. The Gamecocks left for SA yesterday where they are set to play Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their CAF Champions League encounter in which they hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg. Gamecocks coach Joey Antipas relented that the job was only half done and they would need to employ a cautious approach going into the second leg. One thing that sticks out from this encounter is that it’s going to be a night kick-off which is virtually alien to our league as a whole. The match is kicking off at 8:30pm and Joey had already incited that they were going to leave early for SA to ensure that they would get a few night training sessions and also get a feel of the Luca

By Perkins Bare Newly elected Chevrons captain Hamilton Masakadza is set to be the centre of attention as his current red hot from has forced a change of opinion over his general ability as a Chevron. The 32 year -old batsman had been dropped by Zimbabwe Cricket following a bad run of form which forcede him to watch the game over a cup of coffee at home. But ever since his absence from the game the man is surely back as he has posted figures of 93, 20 and 30 against Bangladesh in the T20 series played over in Khulna, Bangladesh. Masakadza was also in dominant form in the T20 tournament played out in Bulawayo in which Zimbabwe Cricket were loooking fro the guys to represent the Chevrons at the T20 World Cup to be played out in India from the 8thy of March. he dazzled once again top scoring with figures of 162 (not out) and 83 (not out) which just showed that the man was intent on making his wrongs right.
